Bowl of ‘Zole, the ultimate pozole and tequila festival, is hitting the road to bring Boston classic Mexican cuisine and top-shelf agave spirits like tequila and mezcal. The partners behind this event, spirits expert Arik Torren of Lot001 Brands, Chef Danny Mena, and Food Karma Projects’ founder Jimmy Carbone, wanted to bring pozole, the comforting Mexican stew, out of the shadows and into the forefront. In 2020, they launched the first Bowl of ‘Zole in Brooklyn to bring together chefs, mezcal producers, and food lovers to celebrate traditional Mexican food and drink. Experts from the world of tequila, mezcal, and agave spirits will be on hand to share their knowledge of these delicious spirits, helping to find your next great drink pairing.
